Industrial Board Painting Technology
Advantages of Industrial Painting
KRASO Wood’s industrial board painting ensures a smooth and precise surface treatment. Unlike painting with a brush or roller, industrial painting is faster, more efficient, and of higher quality. The boards are evenly treated and gradually dried in a controlled indoor environment with stable temperatures and no dust, regardless of the weather. We can process a significant volume of boards in a short time.
Custom Finishing Options
We work with top paint manufacturers and will recommend the most suitable product from our wide range for your project. If needed, we can treat boards with a coating chosen by the client. An almost unlimited range of tones is available, depending on the chosen finish. We tint according to NCS, RAL, and major paint manufacturers’ catalogs, providing extensive color options to meet your project’s needs. We will help you choose and prepare samples!
Wide Range of Coating Options
KRASO Wood offers a wide range of coatings to meet various requirements:
- Paint: For an opaque effect that hides the wood grain.
- Stain/Glaze: For a semi-transparent effect with visible wood grain.
- Oil: For a transparent effect that highlights and enriches the natural beauty of the wood.
- Wax: For a transparent top layer with a smooth, satin sheen surface.
- Varnish: For a transparent, glossy effect with a durable finish.
- Fire Protection: Additional fire-resistant coating for wood.
We primarily use environmentally friendly water-based coatings, but we also offer solvent-based and two-component materials when needed.
Before painting, boards intended for exterior use are coated on all four sides with an antiseptic primer to enhance wood protection.
Strict Adherence to Application Guidelines
We always strictly follow the paint manufacturers’ application guidelines – this is the only way to ensure the highest quality and longevity of our treated cladding boards.
Modern Equipment for Superior Quality
Impregnation Equipment
The Sarmax Apache 5 impregnation machine ensures thorough and even application of the coating using the “flow-coating” system – the timber is generously sprayed and then automatically brushed off to achieve an exceptionally even and high-quality finish. This machine is used for liquid materials such as stains, oils, and waxes.

Painting Equipment
The Sarmax Kompact painting machine uses a spray system that allows precise and even application of paint, ensuring a high-quality and consistent finish, regardless of the length and number of boards. This machine is used for thicker, film-forming materials like paint.

Brushing Equipment
The Sarmax Cheyenne SP4 brushing machine creates a textured, weathered look that gives boards a more pronounced visual depth and character. The natural grain of the wood stands out and is much more noticeable. This high-precision machine works smoothly, without vibrations, using multiple brushes in sequence to achieve the desired effect. The depth of brushing and the intensity of the effect are precisely adjustable as needed.
